As a Training and Development Intern on the Core Operations team, your role will be to equip the team with the skills, knowledge and know-how they need to deliver an exceptional experience to our clients. In this role, you will:

  • Support the Training and Development Specialist with the onboarding and ongoing learning for our Core Operations team to help deliver the vision and strategy of the team
  • Assist in Designing, creating, and organizing scalable and impactful training modules from initial onboarding onwards using various mediums (e.g., live sessions, online learning)
  • Work cross-functionally to build leadership training programs to enable continuous professional development.
  • Work with Core Operations managers to build and track KPIs to measure training effectiveness.
  • Manage and maintain all existing training materials.

We're looking for people who have:

  • Passion for learning- Passionate and curious about training in a financial services environment
  • Detail-Oriented- Has a keen eye for detail and gets excited about figuring out intricate processes and workflows
  • Execution - Acts with urgency with a move-fast mentality. We believe in doing our efficient research upfront and implementing in an iterative way that allows us to learn and correct as we go.
  • Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work cross-functionally with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Action-oriented: A clear bias for action and ability to act without being told what to do, takes full ownership over work and seeks help and input when needed
  • Communication - You are confident presenting and have exceptional communication skills. You know how to keep individuals engaged either in a classroom or remotely.
  • Prioritization & problem-solving - Knows how to break down complex problems and identify root causes. Knows how to balance what needs to be done with what’s possible to do. Understands the scope of an issue and its priority
  • Resourceful - You are confident navigating ambiguous environments and take ownership over any problems you may encounter.

Nice-to-haves (but not required)

  • Experience using a learning management system (LMS) e.g. Lessonly, SAP Litmos, Absorb
  • Experience using JIRA
