The RolePathrise is looking for a Head of Growth to join .and lead our expanding growth team. This role will report directly to the CEO and will manage other members of the growth team. A head of growth can expected to own all demand generation channels alongside their direct reports, including, but not limited to:
- SMM (esp. Facebook)- SEM (esp. Google)- SEO/conversion-oriented content- Cold email/LinkedIn messaging- Affiliate partnerships- CRO
The Head of Growth will also work on writing our annual charter, OKRs and improve experiment procedure and performance processes in the growth team. They should be interested in leading not only the growth team, but also even acting as a mentor to other department heads who are less senior. We are looking for an individual who has experience as a senior manager, director or head of growth, who can bring their previous experience and savvy to the team.

General Must Have's

  • 5+ years of tactical experience in growth
  • 3+ years of experience in a senior growth role managing direct reports
  • 1+ years of experience as a senior manager, director, VP or department head
  • Track record of building and executing a go-to-market strategy that grew at least 2-3x YoY to at least $10mm+ in annual revenue
  • A hands-on attitude - you will almost definitely be managing some initiatives yourself 
  • Highly creative - our business is unique and we expect to continue to succeed, much of what we do on growth may need to be novel as well

Must Have: Effective people management

  • Track record of growing reports into leaders
  • Leads by example in terms of work ethic, accountability and organization
  • Experience building and growing a team or department, with associated insights on hiring, culture and other best practices
  • Commitment to equity, inclusion and belonging

Must Have: Strong understanding of growth and experimentation methodology

  • Charter or roadmap writing
  • Effective 1:1s
  • Sprint methodology
  • Experiment tracking and reporting
  • Product marketing and branding expertise
  • Customer research, personas and buyer’s journey thinking
  • Channel experimentation ideation, budgeting and testing best practices

Must Have: High data and analytics competency

  • Understanding of marketing attribution systems and strategy
  • Understanding of experimentation and testing strategy
  • Knowledge of how to use qualitative and quantitative data
  • Financial intuition around unit economics and CAC
  • Skilled with setting and motivating around KPIs
  • Dashboard design sense

Must Have: Deep tactical experience in the following growth channels

  • SEO/conversion-oriented content
  • Cold email/LinkedIn messaging
  • CRO

Nice to Have's

  • Experience with other revenue driving departments such as sales, account management, or growth product management
  • Any other channel expertise such as influencer marketing, affiliate partnerships, referrals, virality
