As Software Procurement & Licensing Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading the procurement process for all new software purchases and software renewals with the objective of ensuring Talend has the software solutions required to run the business and that valid legal, security and privacy protections are in place.  As this role will lead the required process workflow across an internal cross-functional program team and an external 3rd party SAAS buying and renewing company, extremely strong organizational and communication skills are imperative.  The ideal candidate has a passion for procurement and understands common SAAS software categories.  The ability to multi-task and manage a high level of detail is required.  A background or experience in IT, procurement, contracts, legal, privacy or security compliance is a plus.  

Roles & responsibilities......

  • Run the recurring workflow for all new software purchases, renewals and add-ons
  • Maintain the Software Stack inventory
  • Prepare and track purchase requisitions
  • Help to develop and communicate policy and process for software procurement and lifecycle management
  • Serve as the primary contact for software procurement and vendor management related questions, training, policy and processes
  • Manage the relationship with an outsourced SAAS buying organization
  • Build key relationships across the organization to optimize the procurement process
  • Develop metrics to measure adherence to policy compliance and software stack efficiency
