We are looking for a self-starting, results-oriented, and strongly collaborative leader to own and build out our sales enablement efforts at Scale. As a first-of hire, you will have the opportunity to define our new Sales Enablement function, launch training initiatives and process improvements to drive measurable revenue outcomes, and eventually build out a team. Your scope ranges from streamlining sales onboarding and ramp, to training and coaching salespeople, to producing and distributing the learning materials, content, and resources to support new product launches and distribution efforts.
You will be part of the broader Sales Strategy & Operations team and will enjoy extensive support and context on our go-to-market strategy as you build out our sales enablement program. What you'll do:

  • Act as a leader for all things Sales EnablementWork closely with sales leadership, including our Chief Revenue Officer and Head of Sales Strategy & Operations, to define the sales enablement strategy, roadmap, and KPIs
  • Design, execute, optimize, and assess the effectiveness of our sales enablement programs, leveraging your prior experience and knowledge of functional best practices
  • Partner with product, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to develop and deliver content and resources to the sales organization
  • Collaborate with sales reps and lead change management to enable new initiatives and programs, with a strong focus on sales process execution from a tooling perspective
  • Distribute, track and report on all skills and coaching enablement program assets, including maintaining content in an accessible sales portal
  • Support the Business Development and Solutions Engineering organizations around enablement programs and onboarding
  • Proactively find opportunities for alignment, consistency, and/or best practice sharing across the Revenue Organization
  • Gather and relay feedback to continuously iterate and improve upon the enablement strategy
  • Advise on and manage the sales enablement software stack
  • Build trusted relationships with sales reps
  • Work closely with the Senior Manager, Sales Development to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging
  • Generate new business opportunities by prospecting, researching and outbounding into cold accounts and warm leads at some of the largest technology companies
  • Conduct high level conversations with Senior Executives in target accounts
  • Effectively communicate the value of Scale to potential customersAlign and collaborate with your Account Executives to create strategic and organized territory plans
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas of qualified opportunities

What we're looking for:

  • 4+ years of  sales team experience in a fast-paced enterprise software or technical environment
  • Experience in sales enablement, training and support, and/or revenue-facing roles, and demonstrated knowledge of best practices and methodologies in these areas
  • Track record of consistent high performance, with measurable impact on revenue and/or business outcomes (i.e improving win rates, reducing sales cycles, etc)
  • Self-starter mindset with a strong orientation towards data-driven process and realizing measurable results in an unstructured environment
  • Collaborative and easygoing interpersonal style, and the ability to build relationships with a wide range of people, manage stakeholders, and enact change management
  • Strategic vision and the ability to build out a new function and develop a long-term roadmap
  • Experience in managing teams
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience

  • Nice-to-haves:
  • Interest or experience in the AI/ML, MLOps, and/or enterprise SaaS spaces
  • Experience in building out new teams and functions
  • Familiarity with sales software and tooling such as Salesforce, ZoomInfo, HubSpot
  • Strong analytics or metrics orientation and the ability to work in Excel and/or SQL
