This role plays an integral part in designing and building compensation structures, programs and systems that are scalable to support our growth.

In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Design and evolve total compensation framework and structure to ensure market competitiveness. 
  • Responsible for quarterly equity grant submissions to the Board. 
  • Support stakeholders (Talent Acquisition, Business Partner, DE&I, etc.) with compensation recommendations and analyses as needed.
  • Partner closely with the system team to support the rollout of Workday Compensation Module.

We're looking for people who bring:

  • Compensation Experience: Experience in compensation/benefits/total rewards. Experience with job benchmarking and market analytics.  
  • Data & analytics: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Understanding of financial metrics is an asset. 
  • Attention to Detail - You sweat the details. You know what top tier performance looks like because you have been a top tier performer and you know how to find the details that help your colleagues take performance to the next level.
  • Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to work in collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders and teams
  • Strong Communication: Able to communicate complex ideas in a simple & easy-to-understand way for any audience
  • Creativity: comfortable with thinking outside of the box and being open to new ideas 
  • Results Driven: Wealthsimple is a data driven organization and you feel comfortable using and manipulating data to drive insights that help drive tangible team results.
