Supporting Welocalize’s Localization Program Managers. This position will provide localization project management support to multiple stakeholders and across multiple languages. The Localization Project Manager will work closely with the Clients to assist product engineering, marketing, S&O on localization requests

Responsiblities

  • Concurrent management of multiple localization projects in a fast-paced environment, recognizing and acting on their priorities and inter-dependencies.
  • Create and process projects in Translation Management Systems (such as XTM, Memsource).
  • Assess and execute localization requests submitted by our stakeholders with guidance from DoorDash Program Managers.
  • Analyze requirements and clearly communicate supporting reference materials to linguists. ● Manage project schedule, query cycles, and linguistic QA to ensure that the stakeholders’ requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to resolve questions or conflicts related to terminology, language quality, and workflow.
  • Manage and improve DoorDash’s Glossary and Style Guide processes.
  • Communicating status, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
  • Highlight issues in workflows and/or projects to DoorDash Program Managers for additional support.
  • Coordinating project review with DoorDash’s review vendor of choice.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in localization project management; knowledge of project management software tools and techniques.
  • Experience with Translation Management Systems (such as XTM, Memsource) and Content Management Systems.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully planning and managing fast-paced and larger-scale project implementations from start to finish across multiple languages.
  • Experience ensuring service level agreements are adhered to.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Experience with machine translation projects and/or large-scale translation projects is a plus.
