As the Senior Product Manager - Security and Data Privacy, you will be a leader in enabling our customers to govern data access and operationalize privacy effectively within Treasure Data's Customer Data Platform (CDP). You will own and drive the overall security and data privacy strategy for the CDP, including areas of identity and access management, and privacy management automation.

Treasure Data has differentiated technologies to ingest and unify customer data, perform machine learning on customer data, and syndicate with other software products for activation, all the while adhering to complex security and privacy requirements of large enterprises. Numerous global customers like Stellantis, LG, AB InBev, and Lululemon trust Treasure Data to handle their complexity, scale, and security needs.


  • Driving the vision, roadmap, and execution of our Security and Data Privacy feature set. Interact with internal stakeholders, security experts, customers, and prospects to develop a deep understanding of market needs around security administrative and data privacy feature
  • Apply a working knowledge of global data privacy, information security regulations and policies to articulate customer/control impact and drive alignment across CDP teams to deliver measurable outcomes and improvements
  • Leading projects to implement standards, tools, and processes supporting privacy and security controls across CDP applications
  • Interact with customers/prospects to develop a deep understanding of their problems and requirements and synthesize requirements to define compelling product capabilities


  • 5+ years of product management experience focusing on infrastructure/data security or equivalent experience with a complex technical product with deep security requirements
  • Solid technical understanding of security in one or more areas: Identity and Access Management, Database security, API security, and cloud workload security capabilities
  • Knowledgeable about data management processes (data governance, data stewardship, master data management, data cataloging, data warehousing, ETL, data integration, business rules management, etc.)
  • Adept at workflow, security, and integration requirements
  • Good understanding of privacy technology and requirements, including consumer individual privacy rights, data restrictions, cross-border data management, data localization/residency, consent management, and data clean room.
  • Skilled communicator who is just as comfortable having technical discussions with engineering as well as discussing concepts with a diverse customer audience, including C-level executives, product, and technical stakeholders
  • Proven track record of setting a product vision,  translating vision into a product roadmap and end-to-end execution shipping products.
  • Prior experience building security products on private or public clouds (AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • Prior experience in building and launching enterprise-grade SaaS products
  • Excellent ability to empathize and communicate with people with different points of view
  • Ability to collaborate and lead across highly cross-functional teams
  • Analytical mindset that makes data-driven decisions and can easily calculate ROI
  • Japanese language proficiency is desirable
