About This Opportunity

You will be joining our Global Alliance team reporting to the VP, Marketplace Business Development. Our team works independently and as a cohesive unit to create the highest value for our customers, increased leverage for the sales organization, and influence and further the strategic goals of the company. Our team ideates, executes and drives partnerships with a diverse set of partners spanning technology partners, Cloud Service Providers, Global Systems Integrators, Managed Service Providers, corporate rating services, cyber-insurance underwriters, Telcos and security focused consortiums and interest groups (eg ISACs). Our ideal candidate is a driven, solution-focused, self-starter that has a diverse skill set and a hunger to learn new technologies and business models.

What you will do
In this role, you will be the customer advocate and value generating machine first and foremost, however you also have the sales acumen and capability to spot when a commercial conversation makes sense, pivot accordingly, and facilitate a transaction. While revenue is the ultimate goal, we cannot afford to put our channels in jeopardy by putting our revenue goals ahead of the interests of our freemium customers.

From a tactical standpoint, you will be responsible for provisioning accounts, onboarding teams, identifying, ideating and implementing use-cases, training contacts, creating and reporting against success criteria, quantifying ROI and working with your contacts to build business cases for expansion; you will also be responsible for facilitating and guiding hand-offs to the selling teams when the opportunity presents. On a strategic level, you will be tasked with developing and implementing onboarding playbooks and support models for both hi-touch and low-touch customers, and supporting the Alliance relationship owners in monitoring and ensuring the success of these partnerships, by communicating the perspective of the customers they produce.

This is an exciting role within the SecurityScorecard Alliances team that requires a high degree of energy, flexibility and drive. The right candidate will have an opportunity to have a quantifiable and meaningful impact on the business's revenue goals, alliance partnerships and overarching reputation in the market

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2-5 years working in either Customer Success or Direct Selling roles at technology companies, preferably within the cybersecurity space
  • Demonstrated success in growing and maintaining customer relationships (as measured by quota attainment and other relevant metrics)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with B2B SAAS, MSSP, or CSPs

Additional Qualifications:

  • Self-starter with the ability to manage several projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Solutions-focused mentality and not afraid of venturing into the unknown
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude and curiosity in cybersecurity
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate cross functionally
  • Capable of reporting up through organization to senior stakeholders
  • Familiar with SFDC, GSuite, PowerPoint/GSlides and modern SAAS tools
  • High energy and strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and strong presentation skills
  • Experience with channel sales model, and working with Alliance or VAR partners
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
