About the Role

The Third Party Risk Advisor will serve as an internal subject expert and consultant to strategic customers.  This individual will play an important role in helping customers develop world class third party risk programs that leverage SecurityScorecard platforms and insights. 

In this role, you will work closely with our highest value customers during onboarding and adoption in an advisory and project management role.  You will help these customers refine their objectives and requirements, then tailor processes and platform configuration to their needs. Additionally, you will serve as a third party risk expert in residence by developing internal training, articles and best practice collateral in the third party risk space to help our customers and your fellow employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with customers to understand their objectives, evaluate their current state and define a success plan
  • Design comprehensive (people, process, technology) Third Party Risk Management solutions that include security ratings in collaboration with customers
  • Effectively communicate recommendations, project plans and benefits with customers.  Influence customers to adopt best practices.
  • Manage implementation and adoption projects; develop project plans and milestones, collaborate with customers, track and report on progress, identify and escalate issues and challenges
  • Educate customers in SecurityScorecard platforms, ratings data and third party risk management best practices

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years professional experience as a cybersecurity practitioner showing progressive levels of proficiency
  • 3+ years of experience in a consulting or project management roles

Additional Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of emerging cybersecurity trends and emerging issues
  • Experience developing and maturing third party risk management programs
  • Demonstrated success designing and leading transformation projects
  • Practice writing policy, operating procedures, workflows and other collateral in support of transformation projects
  • Demonstrated thought leadership in the cybersecurity or TPRM space through written articles, whtiie papers and speaking roles
  • Experience presenting to a senior audience
