The Basics:

As the Sr. Mgr of Global Real Estate & Security you will be responsible for a wide range of individual and collaborative contributions to the Real Estate, Workplace, & Security Operations programs.  Reporting directly to the Head of Global Real Estate & Security Operations, this role will have a large focus on capital project management with additional operational responsibilities within the Workplace & Security functions.  This role requires strong operational skills as well as the ability to design and execute the roadmap for the future of the Global Real Estate & Security Operations Organization.  You will collaborate and manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, from C-suite executives to administrators.  This includes, but is not limited to real estate, facilities, workplace design, corporate security, executive protection and residential security, business continuity planning, environmental sustainability, and branded merchandise operations.  Direct or indirect experience in a few of the previously mentioned areas is strongly preferred; however, the ability to develop efficient processes in these functions is required in this role.

Tanium is now a “Remote First” work culture.  This role will be crucial in the development of how we support the new workplace and employee home offices.  This role will also help facilitate the transition of our current leaseholds to appropriately socially-distanced facilities while collaborating with business partners located around the world and from all functions within Tanium.  This role will also require some work in the areas of budget management and forecasting, vendor management, and executive presentations.

 What you’ll do:

  • Ability to travel globally to support projects
  • Project Management of all new global office build-outs
  • Decommissioning offices set for disposition
  • Assist in lease abstracting and transactions
  • Assist in lease work letter redlining
  • Execute plans on appropriate social distancing measures in offices
  • Implement new policies for “Remote First” work culture
  • Oversee Capital Project Budget
  • Manage the company apparel/swag store operations and processes
  • Assist in designing logistic strategies to support a remote workforce
  • Strategize budget management processes & make improvement
  • Streamline purchase and department approval process
  • Oversee ISO27001 audit as it relates to the Environmental Security Policy
  • Oversee Security Team capital projects and large maintenance
  • Project reporting through PM software
  • Improve Sustainability Program & Policy
  • Develop a Health & Safety Plan
  • Formalize documentation for presenting market programs
  • Creation of building & process standards to push out to all global offices
  • Support Head of Real Estate & Security on all strategic initiatives
  • Engage global stakeholders and assist in change management processes

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Industry Experience:
    • 7+ years of relevant work experience
    • Combination of experience in Security, Facilities, Workplace, and Real Estate
    • Project Management

    • Experience in or with a PMO program
    • Understanding of basic technology & infrastructure requirements for office space
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting programs
    • Ability to solve tough problems, quickly
    • Technical writing skills
    • Familiarity with BlueBeam Software
    • Proficient in Spanish
