As a Director of UX Research, you will be:

Hands-on, action-oriented, and strategic. You are energized by the opportunity to solve ambiguous and complex user problems in the fintech and proptech space. This role will be responsible for upholding and establishing Knock’s research function; this includes influencing organizational strategy and priorities, defining and assuring best practices, collaborating with colleagues, and advising, overseeing and building a team of talented researchers. You will lead the way in some of the most strategic, complex problem research Knock has. You're a player and a coach, guiding and scaling the user research team while tackling high-impact user research projects yourself.

You’ll be the voice of the customer, a research thought leader, and continuously advocating for our users. You’ll work with stakeholders across functions and levels to drive highly actionable and meaningful research insights to inform product and feature directions. You'll work with team members to identify, prioritize and scope research needs from small to large.

You thrive on collaborating with others and have a deep passion for creating world-class products and experiences that genuinely meet the customer's needs. You have a drive for synthesizing and sharing results, and the ability to be flexible and pivot quickly. You bring your team members into your research process to grow their understanding of the user problems we’re trying to solve. You naturally build strong relationships with your product, data, design, and marketing counterparts to inform and shape discovery of new products and features.
