Matterport is a remote workplace with headquarters in Sunnyvale, CA. This position can be based remotely in the USA #LI-Remote

What you will do:

  • Manage a sub-category within capture ubiquity that consists out of a large portfolio of product ranges that generates significant part of the Matterport revenue and margin. 
  • Define and craft the proposition roadmap based on deep consumer and market insights. 
  • Drive and follow up the product-segment strategy definition; including technology and product roadmaps  as well as communication initiatives to drive market share. 
  • Steer the integral product development process from start to end, taking initial ideas through to product development and prepare the launch for these propositions, working closely together with the commercial organizations across the globe. 
  • Drive results through cooperating globally with cross-functional teams throughout the full value chain (market research, Innovation & development, design, marketing communications, sales organizations, etc). 
  • Define mechanisms for and manages reporting of department metrics (OKRs, KPIs).
  • Facilitate cross-functional Brand and category reviews to identify issues and opportunities
  • Establish effective working relationships and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and external agencies and partners.
  • Capable of engaging and influencing all stakeholders.

Who you are:

  • 7+ yrs of experience preferably in product management and/or product marketing management.
  • Demonstrated passion for putting the Consumer at the center of all that is done.
  • Technical Marketing/Business Analytics & Fundamentals skills.
  • Thorough understanding of the product development and NPI processDemonstrated experience with Product Lifecycle Management systems and with bringing a product to market collaborating with Marketing and Sales teams to do so.
  • Working knowledge of latest Digital Trends related to business models and activation channels.
  • Drive to take Initiative and Ownership.
  • Data Driven Decision Making and problem-solving.
  • Lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to connect the dots between responsibilities and business strategy.
  • Excellent Stakeholder and Sr Management Influence.
  • Sense of urgency, adaptability and drive.
  • Creativity and entrepreneurship, unwilling to accept status quo.
  • Hardware, Software, and Firmware product development experience all desired.
