The Opportunity
We are looking for a seasoned Head of Content who will deliver unique value to customers through well-considered content strategy developed with the help of a through research, deep topical knowledge and team collaboration. Our ideal match would be someone who can determine the vision, roadmap, and structure of content strategy for our products and help our team create the narrative and the message that resonates with the end user. In this role we expect the candidate not only to be an expert content creator but also an operational leader who can manage the team of content creators and also work in close collaboration with the stakeholders to align the design, content and product streams into one coherent message we would like our user to receive.
We’re looking for someone utterly creative and bright who is able to create the content strategy from scratch and execute it across all products of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a content strategy based on a company's business objectives and user's needs.
  • Think strategically to generate “big ideas” and wrap them up in a fun and engaging storytelling format of the interaction with the user.
  • Make sure our products' voice and tone are consistent through a variety of user-product communication points.
  • Stay updated on appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistency in messaging.
  • Actively participate in the product team internal strategic meetings and brainstorming sessions to deliver superb user experience and boost business metrics.
  • Edit and proofread the work of the team members to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs.
  • Oversee content requirements and create content strategy deliverables across a product life cycle.
  • Own and conduct continuous content A/B testing in close collaboration with the product team.
  • Collaborate, discuss, and reiterate with Product designers and illustrators to develop strategy and find the needed balance of design and copy for each particular part of the product.

About You

  • 5+ years experience creating product-related content in an agency/in-house/freelance experience, conceiving and producing complete campaigns
  • Skilled in using a variety of content types to reach a variety of learning styles
  • Expert at using data, user research, and industry trends to inform content decisions
  • Demonstrated leadership in presenting content design and strategy principles to multiple stakeholders and persuading them to adopt new ideas
  • An awareness of design principles and how copy integrates into the layout
  • Experience working within quick timelines
  • Exceptional writing and grammatical skills
  • Experience with product development software (i.e. Jira / Figma / Confluence or similar)
  • A degree in journalism/writing
  • An awesome portfolio
