The Director of Sales Operations is a pivotal role at WorkWave. This individual will report directly to the SVP of Sales and will be an integral part of the sales leadership team. This role will be instrumental in optimizing systems, tools, and analytics used by sales and other related departments in relation to internal workflows, team visibility, and data quality as it is dispersed across the company. Salesforce is WorkWave’s CRM and genesis of much customer information including deal data, interactions, and more, the role will be involved with all aspects of the business focusing on Sales, Marketing, and Finance. The Director of Sales Operations will balance between both Sales Operations and other relevant departments (depending on prioritized efforts and initiatives) ensuring all workflows are carried out, and that corporate data needs are satisfied from an operational standpoint and a corporate KPI level. A key component of this role will be to partner with finance to establish predictive models regarding sales results. This role will enable the driving of data quality and reliability, optimized workflows, and internal performance. It will also be pivotal in establishing enhanced automation and integrations of internal systems utilized across the organization. This person must be a highly motivated, self-sufficient, organized professional with quality communication skills to train power users among teams on how to best use the system.


  • Manage the Sales Operations professionals across deal desk and pipeline generation tools (Salesforce and SalesLoft)
  • Sales and Finance forecasting, modeling, and analytics
  • Deal Desk - Create, execute, and manage pricing, proposals, contacts, RFI/RFP repository
  • Commission management - interface with Finance on managing & executing commission plans/process
  • Assist in sales planning and manage the execution to ensure the team stays on track and has the analytical background to identify and model both challenges as well as potential
  • Understand pipeline creation/deal pursuit process and assist in managing underlying processes to ensure the sales team stay on track
  • Partner with Business Operations to ensure technical requirements are met
  • Work with Support services to build, support & execute Client AM/CSM data analytics to ensure retention & growth of existing client base


  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations
  • Understanding of sales roles and Go-to-Market Strategy
  • Understanding of Finance systems, methodologies, and forecasting
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Develop and maintain trustworthy relationships
