The Sales Operations Manager is critical to the continued success of Everbridge’s business. By aligning business units against strategy, you will advance the thinking of senior leaders to execute against Everbridge’s 5-year plan and beyond. Sitting within the Americas Business Operations group, you will work cross-functionally across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other corporate functions to help enable the high performance of the Americas Commercial and Enterprise sales organizations by managing and facilitating projects/programs, driving alignment across teams, rolling out and supporting larger strategy efforts, and helping us deliver on our financial and other business goals.
In this role as a Sales Operations Manager reporting to the Director of Americas Sales Operations, you will:· Provide decision, support, and business partnership to the Everbridge Americas Commercial and Enterprise Go-to-Market (GTM) teams.· Provide business partnership, analytical and operational support for the management team in achieving their financial objectives.

What you'll do:

  • Business / Sales Operations:
  • Provide business insight into the sale of an expanding portfolio of Everbridge products in a fast-paced and growing market, segmented by industry and geography
  • Facilitate the development and deployment of sales targets and quotas by territories and industry segments
  • Provide ad hoc sales performance reporting and analysis
  • Facilitate a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and executing on opportunities for sales process enhancement, collaborating with cross-functional teams such as account management, finance, legal, and the people team.
  • Provides sales rep performance data to assist sales management with the management and administration of their teams
  • Assists sales management in understanding and addressing sales deficiencies, process bottlenecks, and performance inconsistencies
  • Support the integration of acquired sales teams with Everbridge sales organizations
  • Systems and Tools:
  • Leverage sales enabling platforms/tools. Monitor the sales organization’s compliance with required standards for maintaining CRM data
  • Maintain reporting and business cadence to proactively inspect and manage Everbridge sales and GTM efforts to meet critical KPIs in terms of bookings, revenue, and opportunity pipeline
  • Leverage Salesforce.com to provide presales analytics on deal commitments and pipeline, and post-sale reporting of bookings data and performance against plan
  • Miscellaneous Tasks:
  • Take the lead in key projects to help inform 2025 vision and beyond and drive operational efficiency across the business
  • Help to organize and drive the annual planning process to define strategic objectives and build budget across Everbridge’s business; partner closely with Finance, our People Team + business leaders
  • Support a test & learn culture by partnering across teams to formalize an innovation program focused on advancing our critical priorities
  • Provide decision support by working with operations and sales leadership to distill and organize recommendations for approval (anticipate requests for additional information, support with additional research or information analysis, and surface key takeaways to ensure content is presented in a digestible format)

What you'll bring:

  • 4+ years’ experience in sales, business, or field operations
  • Strong business, financial, and sales acumen
  • Prior experience in a technology company
  • Working knowledge of Software as a Service or internet hosted applications, highly available architectures, computer security, telephony, and networking a plus
  • Experience interfacing with business and technical teams, an enabler and facilitator with highly effective communication skills, able to manage expectations and influence all levels of the organization, from front-line sales to executive management teams.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced, team environment while managing multiple competing priorities
  • Demonstrated experience of driving global frameworks with the ability to balance local nuanced needs, prioritizing pragmatism, and commerciality.
  • Highly organized and driven by success, achievement, and recognition
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, intellectual curiosity, strong learning agility, and persuasive confidence
  • High energy level and a “can do” attitude
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills with proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related area

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com application
  • Knowledge of Tableau & a deep understanding and experience of MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint a plus
  • Outstanding communication skills (written and oral). Experience responding to RFIs/RFPs a plus
