As a Global Head of Sales Engineering, you will be responsible for managing all facets of the assigned Sales Engineering teams worldwide. The Global Head of Sales Engineering at Gong will oversee Gong’s team of Sales Engineers and Sales Engineering Directors / Managers. You will be responsible for defining, developing, managing and implementing all strategic pre-sales activities and outcomes that align with Gong’s vision, mission and strategic plans on a company-wide basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and run a worldwide Sales Engineering organization leveraging your past experiences to build it right the first time
  • Create processes and collateral to help your team and stakeholders
  • Build the appropriate organizational structures to balance the need for specialization with revenue coverageImprove processes and eliminate bottlenecks by working cross-functionally in order to get deals across the line
  • Build appropriate processes, measurement and infrastructure needed to maximize SE productivity
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with Sales, Product Marketing, Product Management and Engineering and exercise sound judgement to achieve business objectives
  • Build technical thought leadership on architecture, processes and operationalization

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 15+ years of relevant sales engineering experience
  • 5+ years of experience building and managing high performing sales engineering teams
  • 4+ years of experience leading Sales Engineering Directors/Managers on a global scale
  • Have built a successful SE team from the ground up
  • Know how to build trust amongst your team members and cross-functional stakeholders
  • High level of business acumen and understanding of how revenue leaders think
