About the team:The payments team at Scribd is vital to the overall company strategy. As a primarily subscription-based business, payment success rate, dunning recovery rate, and payments options in the checkout all have direct impact on our user experience and company goals. The work in this space is incredibly meaningful and has the ability to drastically impact Scribd’s growth, revenue and success as an organization. 
The team has a dedicated full stack product and engineering team with a shared TPM and QA resource, a partnerships and operations manager, a business analyst, our fraud and trust & safety teams, and a close working relationship and cadence with key cross functional teams including customer service, legal, accounting, fp&a, finance, business development, and other key members of the broader Scribd organization. 
Most importantly, the payments team has the full support of Scribd leadership. They understand the significance of this role, and as a result you will report directly to the COO.
About you
You will:As Head of Payments, you will be responsible for global payments strategy. You have the payments partnerships & operations, fraud, and trust & safety teams reporting to you. You own payments economics and merchant fees. You own resource planning for the team, key metrics, kpi’s, and payments governance efforts/business reviews with leadership and all external payments partners.
You Have:7-10 years of experience working in the payments industry.Prior experience leading global payments strategy.Experience managing programs with dotted line dependencies.
