As an Account Executive (SMB) at Honeywell Sine – you’ll play a critical role in delivering our customer acquisition and revenue goals. Aligned with our SMB segment, you’ll be responsible for closing new logos and expanding existing accounts (80/20).
We are looking for hungry and resilient sales people that thrive from a fast-paced sales environment and B2B sales. You’ll be required to efficiently manage a high volume, fast paced sales cycle with our SMB opportunities, develop lasting relationships, identify key pain points, match value/design solutions and set up new customers for success. This role is open to candidates based in Adelaide and also remotely within Australia.

What you'll do:

  • Manage a high-volume, high-velocity pipeline of SMB opportunities (SDR assigned & self-generated new business or expansion 70/30)
  • Identify and engage multiple stakeholders within a business throughout the sales cycle
  • Gather all appropriate information in order to identify key pain points through discovery calls 
  • Conduct structured, value-focussed sales demonstrations via video conference to present solutions to pain points
  • Ensure new customers are provided with all relevant information and receive a warm hand over to our professional services team for implementation
  • Research and map accounts where appropriate (business size, multiple stakeholders)
  • Work collaboratively with our Sales Development to push deals forward and provide feedback for their development

What you'll have:

  • 2-3 years experience in a B2B sales role that was primarily hunting and closing new logos (experience with account management is not essential)
  • A working knowledge of the SMB landscape across APAC
  • A solutions focussed, consultative sales approach
  • An understanding of key sales methodologies such as Challenger, SPIN & Solution
  • Experience selling to SMBs, working with mid-level & C-suite stakeholders
  • Track record of consistent performance & over achieving targets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including persuasiveness and resilience (specifically over the phone)
  • Experience using CRM and marketing tools  such as Salesforce, Pipedrive, Intercom, Outreach, HubSpot, Marketo
  • Experience with various sales methodologies such as Challenger, SPIN 
  • Strong knowledge of professional media platforms such as LinkedIn, including an established presence and network
  • Experience in B2B SaaS sales preferable but not essential
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Communications, Marketing or a related discipline
  • Capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously with excellent execution, interpersonal and project management skills
