Position Overview:

As our Senior Account Executive, you will manage BibliU’s sales to academic institutions in the assigned territory. We are looking for an experienced high achiever with at least 5 years software sales experience meeting and exceeding goals in a growing company with sales goals that will grow year over year in the assigned set of accounts or territory. This role is key to the company’s successful growth.

If you have great ability to prospect and secure new business as well as to upsell and grow accounts, this role is for you!

What you will be doing:

  • Create an annual and quarterly plan to achieve the assigned quota

  • Prospecting to target accounts and lead follow-up to build a strong sales pipeline that’s at least 150% of target. Sales is responsible for generating 30% of the pipeline through sales networking to augment marketing generated leads.

  • Maintain sales forecast so that it is current with close dates, sales stages, amounts and net amounts.

  • Create Strategic Selling plans for top 20% of opportunities

  • Develop upsell strategies to grow accounts as needed.

  • Renew existing accounts in the assigned sales territory

  • Work with Growth Marketing on sales campaign strategies for assigned market

  • Work with Customer Success to support successful enterprise implementations, upsells and renewals

  • Work with Content to match and maximize sell through of content at defined accounts

  • Identify and work regional and national conferences and system and association level relationships that will support sales goals


What we are looking for:

  • 5+ years experience in high-achieving software sales, meeting established goals

  • Track record of effective prospecting with high conversion rate into qualified opportunities

  • Demonstrable experience in efficiently managing opportunities through the funnel

  • Track record of meeting and exceeding assigned targets

  • Effective selling to the C-suite and executive leadership

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong understanding of technology - SaaS sales tools such as, Google Docs, Sheets, Slides

  • Flexibility to accommodate virtual meetings with different US time zones

  • Ability to accommodate travel, if needed (20-50%)
