Reporting to the VP, Financial Operations, the Director of Revenue Analysis will be primarily responsible for the end-to-end reporting of revenues and the surrounding processes, including reconciliations and internal controls. The successful candidate plays an integral role in connecting sales operations, products and their accounting/financial implications. With solid understanding of our customers and products, this candidate can assess and adapt the downstream impacts to the revenue accounting systems. The candidate will oversee a team of 2 individuals. Must have strong leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:· Leads the end-to-end revenue accounting processes for Post-Acute, Acute & Payor , Professional Services and businesses in the Incubation Zone. This includes: o Month end close for revenues, including any required provisions, partners’ commissions, as well as the related reconciliations and variance analysis. o Systems process documentation, and implementation of new products and/or new revenue streams, and ensuring appropriate application of revenue accounting standards under ASC606, and other applicable standards. Collaborate with the Complex Accounting Team. o Partner with the applicable business teams across all products and markets to ensure reported revenues and disclosures are accurate and complete for each reporting period. o Partner and support FP&A on budget and budget vs. actual analysis on revenues and potentially deeper analysis from a historical view.· Develop a deep understanding of customer agreements, products and their impacts on revenue recognition and operations.· Review and approve specific financial terms on sales contracts.· Collaborates other members of the Finance team to transform the current Revenue Operations through systems and tools.· Lead and influence with finance teams and business partners to identify opportunities to transform and reduce complexities in the revenues processes.· Directs the development, implementation and enhancement of internal controls and procedures in the areas of revenues.· Support and provide training to the Professional Services team on financial acumen, operational processes and internal controls with impact to revenues.· Coordinate activities of external auditors in the revenue area including supervising and participating in preparing auditing materials, required analyses of supporting documents.· Hire, train, retain and reward skilled accounting staff.· Coach and mentor team including developing measurable goals to strive for continual improvement.
Required Experience:· Professional Accounting Designation (CPA)· 10+ years of progressive corporate accounting leadership experience and/or combined public accounting experience required· Experience with acute and post-acute health care customers preferred.· Experience with systems transformation.· Must demonstrate the ability to think critically and solve problems in a timely manner· Knowledge and experience with GAAP, monthly close process, and audit facilitation· Strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate team members· Strong ability to build relationships and work in a team-based environment· Possess exceptional organizational skills and is an effective time manager and multi-tasker· Ability to work with ambiguity in a fast-paced, changing environment· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally at all levels in an efficient manner.· Good team player and ability to meet strict deadlines and deliver on commitments.· A focus on continuous improvementIt is the policy of PointClickCare to ensure equal employment opportunity without discrimination or harassment on the basis of race, religion, national origin, status, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital or domestic/civil partnership status, disability, veteran status, genetic information, or any other basis protected by law.
