Job Title: HR & Recruitment Assistant

Reports into: Head of People

Department: HR

Contract Type: Full-time, Fixed-term

Contract Term: 6 months (with the possibility to extend)

Location: Fully remote (open to candidates based in the UK)

About Our Role


Our HR team is growing and we are looking for a brilliant HR & Recruitment Assistant to help us support the brilliant team we have built. You will be working very closely with our Head of People and together you will be managing all aspects of HR and Recruitment. This is the perfect role for someone who already has some experience in HR but wants to get great exposure and get their hands dirty.


Responsibilities


As a HR & Recruitment Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Posting all vacancies on our ATS and relevant job boards
  • Scheduling interviews across different timezones
  • Being the champion of our employee onboarding process and looking after the end-to-end process from drafting contracts and managing pre-start date comms to scheduling inductions
  • Maintaining our HR system and ensuring all new starters/changes/leavers have been processed in a timely manner
  • Looking after our calendar and making sure that we recognise and celebrate our employees’ birthdays and anniversaries
  • Keeping track of probations and ensure that all employees have had a probationary review meeting
  • Helping plan and communicate our social events
  • Ensuring that all our documentation is up to date and all employee documents are saved in the relevant folders
  • Supporting the Head of People on day-to-day operations


Requirements


We are looking for someone that has:

  • Love for people! Our employees are at the core of everything we do in HR and the focus of our team is to serve and assist the fantastic team we have built over the years
  • 1-2 years of experience in a HR admin role
  • Experience working for a start-up would be a plus
  • Experience working with Google Docs & Microsoft Office
  • Thirst to learn and get involved with different projects
