The RoleReporting to Agency’s Creative Director, the Design Intern will support our design team in both print and digital design, including identity systems, presentations, packaging, performance marketing advertisements & video contents. This position will involve extending and/or executing existing design solutions under the direction of senior design staff, with the opportunity to contribute ideas and concepts to projects as appropriate. 

What You’ll Do

  • Execute and bring concepts from senior creative leadership to life
  • Learn from others on the team to support completion of print and digital design projects
  • Contribute to design concepting and ideation as needed
  • Keep current on standards and tools in the design world, and share best practices with team members on regular basis
  • Work with team to integrate visual touchpoints across the customer experience
  • Work with outside vendors to finalize projects

Competencies and Skills

  • BA in Graphic Design (Graduate, or final year student)
  • Strong skills in layout, typography, iconography or illustration, color systems, and the creation of design comps and presentations
  • Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Basic skills in digital design, prototyping, and markup tools (Figma, After Effects)Basic skills in presentation tools (Google Slides, Acrobat, Miro)
  • Passion for contemporary culture, and interest in current trends in visual design
  • Personal commitment to quality and attention to detail throughout the design process
  • Ability to work efficiently and adhere to schedules and deadlines

Physical Characteristics of Work Environment

  • Remote or in-person in our San Francisco office
  • Full-time, we work flexibly on US 9am - 5pm hours 
  • No travel required
