Building the first solution capable of identifying, attributing, and licensing content in real-time, even before it’s published, is no small feat, so we’re looking for a new Engineering Manager to join us on our quest to bring freedom, fairness, and transparency to the Internet.

The Team:
Engineering at Pex is made up of fully distributed, cross-functional, and autonomous teams with engineers from various backgrounds and skill levels. Each team is led by a people-focused Engineering Manager who is not required to be hands-on, and each manager is supported by a Tech Lead who focuses on technical leadership.  
Due to our growth, we have a variety of possible teams you’d work with. Depending on your specific background, skillset, and experience, you could work on teams developing solutions for Content Management, Metadata, or Analytics - all of which have a large impact on the success of our Attribution Engine and our company as a whole.

The Role:
As an Engineering Manager reporting to our Head of Engineering at Pex, you exemplify our values and empower teams to take initiative, experiment, learn from mistakes, and share opinions freely. Additional ways you’ll be able to impact and lead:
• Help team members in designing and developing Pex products• Support team’s work with timely feedback and coaching• Actively participate in each individual team member’s growth• Ensure a light, systematic process• Collaborate with Product team to learn, understand, and solve problems• Understand the big-picture while participating in architecture and design discussions• Translate requirements into technical needs and actions while supervising engineering team deliverables
