Our brand team is looking for a Content Marketing Manager with proven expertise at creating, managing, and publishing compelling and elegant social media campaigns and content. This role will be instrumental in using social media to build Talend’s brand and to deepen the market’s understanding of healthy data and its importance to every single business in the world.
You’ll create and implement a world-class social media strategy in one of the most exciting and dynamic industries in technology. Through deep empathy with our target audience, you will accelerate engagement and interest in our key platforms like LinkedIn and YouTube and expand our ideas of what’s possible on other platforms.
This role covers a broad scope of responsibility across our owned media channels: writing Talend’s social posts, publishing and distributing our blog posts alongside our PR, thought leadership and content teams, ideating and creating multimedia content alongside our corporate communications and product marketing teams. The person in this role will create and actively manage our social media calendar via cross-functional collaboration, define our brand voice and messaging on each platform, draft template posts for our employees, customers, and partners, and report on performance.
You’ll work closely with the entire marketing team and report to the Director of Brand to define key objectives and implement a global program for this data management leader.

Responsibilities....

  • Create and implement a world-class social media strategy to accelerate our global social media footprint and clearly establish the category of data health and Talend’s role in it.
  • Build and maintain a dynamic, global social media and blog calendar, ensuring a consistent brand voice and messaging across all channels.
  • Own publishing content to our blog and creating social media microcontent for it that’s used across all of our social media platforms.
  • Actively monitor all social media channels for mentions, news events and trends connected with Talend and the data management market. Work with stakeholders to comment and respond quickly.
  • Lead our expansion to platforms including and beyond LinkedIn, YouTube and Twitter by leveraging multimedia content optimized for each format.
  • Draft and share template social media posts for our employees, customers and partners to amplify news, trends and announcements with on-brand messaging.
  • Identify joint marketing opportunities by monitoring the social feeds of our customers, investors, and partners, in addition to actively monitoring Talend mentions. Suggest content optimization based on this data.
  • Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to build compelling social content targeting new audiences.
  • Conduct enablement sessions for colleagues across departments to share social media best practices.
  • Participate in messaging and planning discussions for product launches; become knowledgeable about the nuances of the data management industry and messaging for Talend’s data health solutions.
  • Expand the framework for analyzing the effectiveness of our social media strategy and operationalize reporting through data to demonstrate how well we meet key objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with our Demand Generation, Digital, Product Marketing, Corporate Marketing, PR, and Field Marketing teams to align our social media strategy with integrated go-to-market campaigns.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reports on social engagement and program ROI as required.

We'd love it if you had....

  • 3-5+ years of experience in driving digital / social marketing engagement in a global, B2B technology company.
  • The proven ability to gain followers and build a positive reputation for B2B technology company.
  • A creative, entrepreneurial mindset, who likes to roll up their sleeves, create, fail fast, and celebrate success.
  • The proven ability to engage with communities on social media through empathetic and data-driven social listening.
  • Excellent storytelling and presentation skills, with a track record of distilling complicated concepts into compelling content for specific platforms.
  • Deep expertise in LinkedIn, YouTube and Twitter as well as an evolving understanding of other platforms, including new, advanced and paid features.
  • Expertise in social media management tools such as Hootsuite or Coscheduler, and a point of view of preferred calendaring and social listening tools.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, project management and agency management skills.
  • Cross-functional expertise, adept at building positive working relationships and influence with multiple teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in using data to inform strategic decisions, including performance tracking and behavioral analytics.
  • Capable of leading multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Insatiable curiosity, a strong work ethic, and a growth mindset.
Although the req says Philadelphia, this role can be based anywhere in the US.
