Instructor Partnerships: Manager, Supply Program


Udemy is looking for an experienced manager to lead our evolving Instructor Partnership Supply Program. This team sits within Instructor Partnerships, under the Global Content Department. This role is integral to Udemy’s success and will focus on scaling our ability to source and manage the best instructor talent on Udemy to help us continue to expand and grow our subscription collection content.
In this role, you will lead a newly formed team of regionally focused Supply Program Managers who identify and engage Instructors to create and contribute key content to keep the market and Udemy Business Collection thriving. Your team will be sourcing and engaging instructors globally, which will require you to continually refine and iterate on the strategy and approach to identifying qualifying instructors. You will manage the broader team’s quarterly productivity goals, and jump in as a player coach when necessary to ensure the team delivers on our annual goal. This role is highly cross-functional, sitting at the intersection of several teams such as our Content Strategy, Product, Support and Marketing teams.
This is a full-time remote position.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead a team of regionally focused Supply Program Managers to identify and acquire existing Udemy instructors to publish new courses that expand our global offerings. 
  • Build and scale team processes, assess new tools, establish goal tracking and reporting methods, and develop best practices to ensure the team and instructors meet our supply objectives
  • Act as a player coach to ensure the team meets our productivity goals
  • Partner with key stakeholders such as Content Strategy, Product, Support/Ops, Marketing and Learning & Development to align and deliver on the initiatives, information and resources that drive program success

We're excited about you because:

  • You have 5+ years working with customers in relationship management, program management, or professional services capacity.
  • You have 2+ years direct management experience running a relationship management/program management team for a professional services or tech company.
  • You can demonstrate a track record of successfully building and scaling program management strategies.
  • You have a history of building diverse, engaged, and effective teams.

Bonus points for:

  • Familiarity with content development, instructional design, or product feature development 
  • Keeping up with a variety of technology domains (certifications, data science, and programming languages) to help shape future innovation with content initiatives
  • Experience with Salesforce content management
  • Passion for / interest in global growth and international friendly business practices
