Olo's ideal Sales Director has in-depth knowledge of and experience with the sales process, excelling at lead generation and closing deals. You possess strong negotiating skills and a track record of success who can inspire the same in others. You are a leader who has the ability to coach, advise and motivate sales representatives to maintain a high-performance sales force.
Olo's industry-leading online ordering platform has changed the restaurant landscape, helping many of our customers achieve 40%+ digital sales. You will help grow our business by understanding client needs and delivering solutions that maximize their digital potential.This is an exciting opportunity for you to lead a growing group of Regional Sales Executives within Olo's sales team. You will report to the Vice President, Emerging Enterprise Sales.
You can work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. or at Olo's headquarters in NYC on the 82nd floor of One World Trade Center.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Direct the sales process within the U.S for a team of sales executives focused on mid-market brand prospects (30-99 locations)
  • Research and understand the market
  • Train new team members and continue to grow and mentor existing team members
  • You're a great collaborator who's able to communicate with multiple internal departments about client feedback and plans
  • Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop a plan to fulfill them
  • Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands customer base
  • Partner to help close deals and produce creative solutions to ensure Olo's quota's are met
  • Monitor sales activity, revenue forecasting, sales goals
  • Track and keep a pulse on where we're at and how we can continue to succeed
  • Continuously develop personal leadership, hiring, and training skills while ensuring the team is using effective sales tactics to meet revenue goals
  • Determine the tools and operational workflow needed & coordinate with our sales ops team
  • Work cross-functionally and communicate with leadership and other departments
  • Feedback from our prospects is so important, you'll facilitate insight to our product teams to help refine our product strategy
  • Be held to revenue and product adoption goals

What We'll Expect From You

  • 7+ years of sales experience with proven results
  • 3+ years sales management experience
  • Experience in the hospitality/restaurant industry, B2B SaaS/software or payment solution
  • You can manage processes and communication across multiple teams
  • Experience succeeding in a goal-motivated environment
  • Comfortably geeky; you're good at demonstrating some pretty advanced stuff
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), CRM and data analytics tools
  • Experience deciphering legal contracts and navigating contract negotiations
