About the roleWe are looking for an experienced client-focused marketer to lead the development of go-to-market strategies that drive adoption and sustained growth for new and existing crypto products. You'll be responsible for crafting the right value proposition, positioning, messaging, and channel strategy that resonate with customers; as well as post-launch marketing programs.
You’ll work on one of our most innovative product offerings for our clients alongside cross-functional teams from Product Management, User Experience, Growth, Brand, Data Science, Engineering, Research, Policy, Compliance and more.
As the newest members of the team, you'll have a key role in building a world class Product Marketing function at Wealthsimple.

What you’ll do day-to-day:

  • Think big about the future of crypto and how we can bring people into the cryptoeconomy more quickly in a way that serves their best interests
  • Craft and refine the product positioning and input to the roadmap through ongoing market and competitive assessments with research and data teams
  • Develop our go-to-market strategies for product launches and ongoing product adoption efforts by collaborating with our Brand, Growth, Communications, Product, Data Science, and Partnerships teams
  • Track and analyze the impact of the work and find opportunities to improve our approach
  • Develop a deep understanding of the crypto ecosystem (including clients, policymakers, news media, government)
  • Be the voice of our clients and trusted advisor to inform product positioning, brand differentiation, content creation and external communications
  • Be a strong client champion, creative marketer, and problem solver

About you:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Product Marketing capacity
  • You are passionate about the cryptoeconomy and blockchain technology
  • You have strong relationship building capabilities and the ability to work cross-functionally
  • You have the ability to break down complex concepts so that they’re simple, clear, and human
  • You have experience in tech companies where customer and data insights guide your decisions
  • You bring qualitative analytical abilities
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment with a bias towards action
