What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assist in monitoring team’s progress towards project goals and milestones and coordinate with other teams when necessary
  • Participate in meetings with project team members to determine the progress of work and identify additional follow-ups, blockers, and potential escalations required
  • Provide general administrative support to research teams: including, but not limited to, monitoring calendars, setting up meetings, making travel and/or meeting arrangements, entering time, and filing expense reports
  • Compile reports concerning the progress of work and downtime to distribute to personnel involved in the project as well as key project stakeholders
  • Identify trends and relationships amongst managed projects and enable frequent and rapid communication across project portfolios
  • Performing project research and collecting data
  • Outlining the tasks involved in the project.

What You'll Need:

  • Possess the basic level of Project Management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills to be able to interface effectively with a broad range of contacts from technical staff to senior management
  • Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent activities and to work successfully under pressure
  • Can deal with ambiguity and requests for change
  • Experience within startup, tech, or research environments is an asset
  • Experience as an engineer project coordinator or technical project coordinator
  • Understanding hardware research
