This position is 100% remote:

  • In order to qualify for remote work, candidates need to reside or be willing to move to Nebraska, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Texas, or Nevada.

How you will achieve success:

  • Operate as a technical subject matter expert and advise project teams and IT leadership regarding integration with System integrations and provide technical guidance and assistance to IT System Engineers while maintaining the velocity of the established IT roadmap.
  • Manage the System integrations and implementations performed by the System Engineers when they install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software applications, and other enterprise-related technologies.
  • Develop, maintain, manage, and update procedures for all authentication, role-based access control, and account management lifecycle-related services and processes in line with IT leadership and IT product established goals. Drive change through the discovery and refinement of new ideas that put in standardization and automation through our enterprise.
  • Use industry-leading expertise and understanding of information technology to develop solution architectures and blueprints based on business, and technology objectives, as well as being able to serve as the primary system architect on all initiatives and perform complex software and operating system upgrades and track system licensing.
  • Resolve system-related architecture/design issues across multiple teams and be responsible for understanding the pathing and operation of all major applications. Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure for the organization to be in line with company guidelines or SOP and maintain system-related ISP policies and procedures owned by System Engineering and IT.

What experiences will help you in this role:

  • Proven experience planning and implementing technical projects to completion - on time, and on budget as well as proven experience in relation to all size environments and solution architecture, previous experience in desktop support and Enterprise IT / Security / Telephony / Networking.
  • Knowledge of all core Microsoft technologies including Windows Server (2008-2019), Microsoft365, MS SQL Server (2005-2019), Linux management and support, and expertise in Windows 10 desktop support.
  • Experience with remote troubleshooting, knowledge of disaster recovery best practices, understanding of networking fundamentals, and expertise with hardware troubleshooting (e.g., printers, component upgrades, etc.).
  • Proficiency with firewalls, switches, and routers from various manufacturers, knowledge of networking (LAN, WAN, VLAN, Routing, Firewalls, etc.), and the ability to support enterprise software systems.
  • Certifications - CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA A+, MCSE preferred but not required, 4–6 years+ of experience in a senior IT role, 4–6 years+ of experience in cross-functional IT roles with a demonstrated versatile IT career path, and System Administration: 3 years+.
