We are looking for a passionate Technical Curriculum Developer to contribute to the development of Dataiku’s world-class learning resources which meet market needs. As a member of the Educational Services department, which aims to provide an exceptional learning experience to our customers and our partners, the Technical Curriculum Developer will have two main missions: - Develop, maintain, and improve the online learning content that highlights the capabilities of the Dataiku platform. - Enable other customer-facing teams on how to use the online content to support customers. The Technical Curriculum Developer must be ambitious, interested in emerging data science technologies, and comfortable working with other teams. This person must also be prepared to learn new skills and work with different profiles and experiences in many interesting fields.    If you are passionate about Data Science and Technologies with excellent written skills and experience developing training content, this will be a fantastic opportunity for you to grow your data science and AI technologies skillset. You will be able to master highly advanced technical subjects, but also develop materials such as written tutorials and use cases, data science project workflows, and storyboards for video production.

In this role, you'll help the team:

  • Design and develop technical course content, projects, and quizzes, in collaboration with data scientists, data science training specialists, and other subject matter experts at Dataiku
  • Translate complex technical concepts and components into accurate and impactful visual aids in collaboration with the e-learning graphic designer
  • Collaborate effectively with other members of the educational services team — the technical writers, technical curriculum developers, data science training specialists, and e-learning Graphic Designer
  • Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders (Customer Success Managers and Partner Managers) and subject matter experts (Data Scientist and Architects) to understand the online training content needs of our customers and partners, and provide solutions
  • Work closely with the R&D and Product teams to stay updated on all Dataiku capabilities and new features
  • Learn and constantly refresh on e-learning and techniques to provide learning content in ways that are clear, easily understood, and engaging to learners

You may be a good fit for this role if you have/are:

  • Experience transforming raw content from technical contributors into clear human-readable materials
  • Professional knowledge of content production concepts and tools. Experience with the specific tools in our stack is helpful, including Git, RestructuredText (RST), and Sphinx
  • Knowledgeable in the use of various e-learning techniques
  • Technical knowledge in one or more key data analysis areas (e.g., machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, relational database modeling, SQL, data manipulation and wrangling) and an interest in learning about emerging technologies in data science
  • Experience -or at least familiarity- with a programming language such as Python or R
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with an aptitude for learning new technologies
  • The ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders (such as R&D, Product, Customer-facing teams) to identify, research, and produce learning content
  • At least 1 year of experience working in an analytics company
  • Previous experience in creating online content and videos is plus
