The Senior Manager, Analyst, and Public Relations will play a key role in establishing Dragos as the go-to authority and leader in the industrial cybersecurity market, and as the recognized leader by top analyst firms. Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Communications, the Senior Manager will work closely with the marketing team, executive staff members, and our PR global agencies to build and tell the Dragos story, promote our unique culture and people, and manage analyst and public relations. This role will require working closely with the Marketing team to build thought leadership programs that reinforce our story and help us communicate the value of what we do for our customers and community. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and evolve strategic analyst and public relations programs to build awareness and preference with market influencers and key opinion leaders 
  • Raise the profiles of executive leaders, including our CEO, exec team members, SMEs, and regional leaders, as industry experts and thought leaders   
  • Build and manage our analyst relations program to position Dragos as the market and thought leader through regular engagement: inquiries and briefings, thoughtful sharing of news and content 
  • Increase value Dragos receives from analyst firms by sharing relevant reports and connecting staff seeking information/insights with analysts for inquiries 
  • Manage our global PR agencies and engagement with top-tier business news and national broadcast, cybersecurity, and trade media 
  • Identify and pursue awards and earned speaking opportunities 
  • Manage spokesperson training and preparation/briefing materials for specific opportunities 
  • Support employment branding through PR and awards opportunities 
  • Write press releases, statements, media responses, FAQs, and maintain an archive to support future opportunities 
  • Lead and support the development of thought leadership content for the PR program, including reports, surveys, OpEds, contributed articles 
  • Provide reporting against metrics for continual improvement for programs 

Requirements

  • Experience running analyst and public relations for a cybersecurity company in an in-house or substantial agency role 
  • First-hand work with analyst firms, including managing analyst engagements as well as experience as an administrative seat holder 
  • Experience managing and optimizing positions in the Forrester Wave and Gartner MQ 
  • Strong writing skills, including the ability to translate technical information into clear, concise, and compelling content that builds awareness for Dragos’s value to the market and customers 
  • Strong project management skills 
  • Remote position, with the ability to work core Eastern Time hours 
  • Ability to effectively drive results in an individual contributor role, leading agency teams and collaborating across the company 

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $130,00
  • Base + Benefits + Equity = $190,00

  • Equity at Dragos is quickly growing and the total compensation under-represents the future growth and refresh program. This will be discussed on the first call with the Dragos recruiter.
