The role of the Channel Manager is a critical role within the Partner Sales Team.  This position will be held by an individual with proven experience in developing new, deep, wide and sustainable relationships with business partners, interfacing with senior levels of an organization with the ability to sell the strategic relevance of Workwave platforms that results in partners advocating or recommending the WorkWave suite of solutions.


  • Assist in the research and definition of a group of potential partners across a wide sector of industries that offer the quickest and most sustainable path to net new revenue
  • Business development responsibilities for finding and contacting new VAR partners , as well as, ongoing management of these relationships
  • Work with an assigned set of focused partners to build the required relationships to create mutually beneficial business plans leading to workable opportunities
  • Working closely with channel marketing to provide the partner network with material that helps them drive new business
  • Identify and build pipelines and manage a forecast coming from the associated base of allocated partners
  • Assist with the ongoing product education and management of WorkWave platforms including demonstrations and presentations 
  • Become an expert in the WorkWave solutions to be able to assist partners with initial product demonstrations


  • 5  years combination experience of partner development, general business sales, and in ever increasing roles of responsibility and accountability
  • Has proven and demonstrated ability to communicate, influence, and manage executive level relationships with minimal direction. Includes experience demonstrating software solutions
  • Has experience in developing and managing complex, strategic partnering relationships
  • Has a highly organized working style: ability to handle and manage multiple projects simultaneously through a systematic approach
  • Will be capable of determining the effectiveness of an approach and able to make the appropriate adjustment to achieve maximum results
  • Experience as a quota driven sales executive in both expanding the number of partners and driving revenue across these channels
  • Potential for travel up to 25%
