Wonolo is looking for a Director of Marketplace Operations - a leader who will be responsible for the business operations and support of new enterprise customers. 
The position is remote and reports to the VP of Marketplace and Customer Success. You will be accountable for the overall success and retention of an important customer segment at Wonolo. In partnership with a team and cross-functional partners, you will help drive operational efficiencies and define the future service model to retain and support enterprise customers.

What you'll do:

  • Be responsible for the overall business unit performance (effectiveness and efficiency)
  • Hands-on business operator - Manage, coach, and develop local teams
  • Drive operational rhythm and use metrics to facilitate alignment on key issues and opportunities across customers
  • Develop deep expertise of our products and core use cases, and contribute to product development by providing local insights to the product team
  • Oversee team budget, including streamlining and overseeing broad contract development with key vendors and service providers
  • Travel up to 15-25%

Who you are:

  • 8-10+ years of senior strategic operating experience in a fast-growth environment (experience in the staffing industry preferred)
  • Entrepreneurial, flexible, and collaborative
  • Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels, internally and externally
  • Strong communication skills and desire to lead teams / work closely with customers
  • Not afraid to challenge the status quo
  • Strong analytical skills and program management experience
