A World-Changing Company
At Palantir, we’re passionate about building software that solves problems. We partner with the most important institutions in the world to transform how they use data and technology. Our software has been used to stop terrorist attacks, discover new medicines, gain an edge in global financial markets, and more. If these types of projects excite you, we'd love for you to join us.

The Role
Palantir's Identity team is responsible for managing all identities and supporting infrastructure that is critical to the safety and security of the company. We deploy, maintain and operate multiple systems for various workflows across the business; from internal development to customer access to our products. Our primary focus is to ensure Palantir employees only have access to the systems they need, while staying compliant with respect to training and customer standards. As an Identity DevOps Engineer, you will build novel tools, web services, and develop custom workflows to enhance and scale our operations. You will build, manage, and take responsibility for core infrastructure that powers user lifecycle and identity governance for the globally distributed Palantir workforce.

Core Responsibilities

  • Oversee identity lifecycle and governance (corporate and customer) workflows.
  • Deploy and manage Directory and Single Sign On services and integrations across multiple identity providers.
  • Management of systems in multiple cloud providers.
  • Partner with the Information Security team to design and implement security policies.
  • Automate workflows to scale the team’s operations across the company.

What We Value

  • 4+ years’ experience with identity and access management and deep understanding of identity protocols (SAML, OIDC, LDAP, Kerberos, FIDO2, WebAuthN).
  • Experience working with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (EC2, RDS, WVD, R53, Azure AD).
  • Experience managing and developing highly-available and distributed software.
  • Proficiency with a scripting language such as Powershell, Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Exposure to infrastructure-as-code frameworks such as Terraform and Cloudformation, Ansible, Puppet, DSC.
  • Ability to independently learn and problem solve.
