Shef is hiring a Senior Recruiter to help us build out our Growth, Operations and G&A teams. You’ll be a key player as we scale our teams and build a global community devoted to economic empowerment and cultural inclusivity. At Shef, you’ll be a partner to the leadership team, help build processes, grow candidate pipelines and develop hiring forecasts for the organization. This role is more than finding and hiring team members. It is helping us build a world class talent team, working hand in hand with your partners to help the business grow and scale.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and drive a full-cycle recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interview, feedback and offers for all levels of candidates across the organization including growth, operations and G&A.
  • Build pipeline for multiple requisitions across teams considering diversity and the importance of balanced candidate slates.
  • Partner with hiring managers and People Operations to build hiring strategies.
  • Influence business leaders and educate hiring managers on process, interview best practices, and decision making. 
  • Provide exceptional candidate experiences. Create new ways to surprise and delight candidates as they go through our interview process.
  • Utilize data to improve recruiting efficiency, drive innovation and influence hiring decisions
  • Represent Shef with integrity and professionalism.  Speak passionately and authentically about our mission of serving our community of shefs.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience ideally with 2+ years within a high-growth tech environment
  • Both agency and in-house experience is a plus
  • Experience coaching hiring managers, guiding them through the whole recruiting process
  • Proven experience sourcing and closing profiles ranging from mid to senior Leadership positions
  • Drive to find and connect with the exceptional talent
  • Experience building representative candidate pipelines and helping hiring managers create inclusive teams
  • Familiarity with funnel metrics - you can use your data to understand and predict candidates needed to achieve hiring targets
  • Ability to qualify a candidate and understand what each candidate brings to the table, as well as connect that candidate with the right opportunity at Shef
  • At your best in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
