Graylog is looking for a Product Manager who has a passion for building products focused on customer success and ease of use. The Solutions Engineer will need to understand what type of content to create, based on their experience. You will determine what log types need to be used and what content needs to be created. Research will be a critical component to this role as logs can come in different methods from the same source. This role will collaborate with the SIEM Architect and Engineers about what should be created and to validate what they are creating is viable. 
* Experience as an analyst or engineer with a log management solution is a must.

Responsibilities

  • The mission of this role is to accelerate and drive the security content creation for Graylog Illuminate
  • Maintain the external relationships with our partners who are involved in the creating of content, holding reoccurring meetings, setting priorities and coordination of validating created content
  • Oversee content creation process from helping to determine what content to create, coordinating with team members, and creating release plans for publication
  • Write technical specifications for developers for the creation of new content and maintain internal documentation of product releases
  • Assist in developing content production roadmaps
  • Monitor, react to, and grow; customer feedback and requests, outstanding issues and bug reports

Requirements

  • Experience as a Security Analyst or Security Engineer with day to day responsibilities monitoring a log monitoring system, preferably Graylog
  • Experience managing product timelines, and deliverables
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Very organized with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to execute at a very detailed level while keeping the big picture in mind
