We are looking for a hands-on, solution-oriented team player to join our Finance organization as our first Financial Systems Manager. This role will own all financial systems implementation, enhancements and maintenance. The position will also help with automation of finance processes and reporting. The successful candidate will be an experienced, high-energy, detail-oriented and highly analytic business analyst with experience in corporate finance functions and ERP implementations. They will have demonstrated the ability to transform business requirements into system improvements that ultimately advance the finance digital transformation initiatives of a growing organization.

As our Financial Systems Manager, you will:

  • Own all aspects of the financial systems, including designing, configuration, administration, system upgrades, reporting writing and more.
  • Serve as the go-to expert for Finance & Accounting systems and be able to share insight to best practices when possible
  • Plan and lead implementation efforts as we evaluate new business tools or transitions in ERP/Financial Planning/Databases.
  • Partner with other technology groups like IT, Sales Ops and Engineering to ensure system alignment and integrity.
  • Help develop the Business Systems Strategy by building a prioritized roadmap that aligns to the company’s strategic vision
  • Drive process optimization and identify automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency
  • Ensure integrity of the Accounting System by developing safeguards and controls including account creation, user access/permissions and maintaining locked financial periods.
  • Understand crucial points of reliance on data and systems to ensure finance and accounting can meet their deadlines.
  • Take a leadership role achieving SOX compliances for financial systems.

What we’re looking for:

  • At least 6+ years of experience with implementation, solution building and control of financial systems and reporting technologies
  • Strong understanding of FP&A /US GAAP / Accounting business processes to recommend best practices and provide Adaptive/NetSuite business process support
  • Experience with Workato, CaptivateIQ, Metabase, NetSuite, Salesforce.com
  • Ability to translate complex information into comprehensive, concise and high-quality business requirements
  • Experience working with a diverse set of stakeholders with a strong customer service orientation and ability to influence key functional leaders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication & data presentation skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
  • Strong problem solving, analytical, and diagnostic skills
