The Role
Veeva Systems is looking to recruit a European Sales Director to lead a specific segment of the Life Sciences market – the Contract Services Organizations including Contract Manufacturers (CMOs and CDMOs). It will this person’s responsibility to:  hire and manage a high performing sales organization develop and execute sales strategy for the local markets create the right partner relationships to support the local region build executive relationships in customer accounts Your team will sell strategic solutions to the senior Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Safety, and IT stakeholders.  This is a great opportunity to recruit, develop and lead a new team and be part of the exciting next phase of Veeva’s growth in Europe.

What You'll Do

  • Recruit and lead a team of Account Executives to manage the existing customer relationships as well as expand into new business accounts
  • Onboard/develop and coach your new team
  • Manage executive relationships with senior stakeholders 
  • Meet/exceed pipeline generation and revenue targets
  • Contribute to the European sales leadership team


  • Proven track record in strong sales and/or consulting environments
  • 3+ years of sales management experience in SaaS sales or consulting 
  • Experience with hiring, coaching, and leading a team of salespeople
  • Self-motivated, self-starter, accountable for results
  • Manage complex solution sales cycles, utilizing internal and external resources as appropriate

Nice to Have

  • Experience in GxP systems, Quality processes in Life Sciences or Contract Manufacturing for Life Sciences
  • Speaks English + another EU language
