We’re looking for a Senior Acquisitions Associate (China) to join our dynamic team of 100+ people, working in our New York office. We’re on a mission to be in the top 25 third-party, e-commerce sellers globally, within the next 5 years. Currently, we’re in the top 10,000. 

As Senior Acquisitions Associate (China), you'll be responsible for seeking out opportunities and running full sales cycles within the Amazon seller brand community in China. We're looking for a highly self-driven, out-of-the-box thinker who's energized by taking the time to understand our potential acquisitions and how we are best positioned to grow our brand.

To be successful in this role, you'll understand how to go after new business and how to build relationships with seller brands in order to continue building the future of Benitago.

Among many exciting challenges, you will:

  • Source new deals through networking and founder outreach

  • Evaluate business plans, including preliminary commercial and financial analyses, and attend presentations with entrepreneurs

  • Manage the full acquisition cycle, including prospecting, negotiating, and closing new business

  • Set up high-quality discovery calls to identify potential acquisition opportunities for companies with $1M+ in EBITDA

  • Understand each potential acquisition’s needs, and effectively communicate with founders across different e-commerce industries


Do you have what it takes?

  • You have 1+ years’ experience in sales, VC, M&A, or in related business-development operations 

  • Fluent in spoken and written Mandarin is required

  • You’re experienced in building relationships, and in selling to C-level executives or small-/medium-size business founders

  • You have a strong interest in e-commerce 

  • You’re positive and motivated, and have great people skills

  • You have drive and ambition, with a proven track record of consistently exceeding business objectives
