The primary responsibility of this role is to provide project management, enterprise solution application implementation services, and support during the design, build, test, and training phases of projects based on Everbridge innovative software platform, Control Center Reporting to the Professional Services Manager, the engineer will operate in a collaborative, team-focused, environment, ensuring adherence to our strict quality control and program delivery methodology.
This is a customer-facing role that requires a thorough understanding of Everbridge’s platform and the infrastructures that it will interact with along with a detailed understanding of the subsystem edge devices used by our end-user and reseller partner customers. The role requires a strong project management ability coupled with technical knowledge which encompasses development, database administration, and network engineering. This role will require national and international travel, which may be extensive at times. Successful project delivery and positive customer satisfaction are crucial to our expansion strategy, therefore excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong analytical and problem-solving expertise are pre-requisites for this role. The ability to operate to tight deadlines and effectively engage with both end-user and reseller partners is crucial, as is an experience of deploying an enterprise-based software solution.

What you'll do;

  • Develop and maintain extensive working knowledge of Everbridge solutions and capabilities.
  • Provide technical leadership and become an authority in all aspects of the design, build, integration, test, quality control (QC), commission, and deployment of Control Center-based solutions.
  • Provide realistic project estimates in accordance with CNL project methodologies.
  • Create detailed design documentation for customer submission, review, and approval.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of the setup, configuration, and operation of 3rd party subsystem edge devices (closed-circuit television (CCTV)/Access Control/Intruder Alarm, etc.) and their integration with CNL Software solutions.
  • Produce detailed functional and operational customer requirements specifications based on on-site visits, requests for information (RFI), request for proposal (RFP), and other commercial and technical documentation.
  • Conduct in-depth product and solution demonstrations when required.
  • Operate as an ambassador for the company and always present a professional, tactful, diplomatic presence when interacting with end-user customers, reseller partners, and third-party system and equipment manufacturers.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or software-related technical degree or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation and communication skills; including the ability to interpret written requirements and technical specification documents.
  • Successfully managed to complete at least 10 projects related to technical deployments in the security industry.
  • Proven track record of installing, implementing, testing, and training end-users on a high-level application suite like Document Management, Fleet Management, electronic point of sale (EPOS), or enterprise resource planning (ERP).
  • Demonstrable experience in configuring personal computers (PCs), servers and troubleshooting the Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems.
  • Strong knowledge of database architectures and methodologies; ideally Microsoft SQL Server and the ability to manipulate data effectively and efficiently using SQL object-oriented (OO) concepts and rationale.
  • Excellent knowledge of the latest Windows Server and Desktop versions.
  • Proven track record and experience of networking principles and the Internet Protocol (IP).
  • Excellent knowledge of virtual machine (VM) environments and Microsoft Clustering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to obtain relevant security clearance for working on classified projects. 
  • Desirable: Experience in the Security industry.
