About the Role Kraken is growing and we’re looking for a Marketing Operations Coordinator to support our Communications and Content teams within the marketing org. It’s a critical role as this position serves as the glue between the two teams ensuring there’s visibility and connectivity between them.  
In this remote North American based role, you’ll kick off each day meeting with both teams, giving updates on where we are with certain projects, pieces and priorities. Next up, is taking a look at the project management app and helping assign tasks to the appropriate party as well as moving tasks through workflows. You’ll be the go to when it comes to training new Communications/Content team members on our processes, systems and workflows.
In addition to using your exceptional organization, communication and follow up skills for project management, you’ll also use these skills to lean in on budget creation, tracking expenses and invoicing, in addition to reviewing and coordinating contracts and NDAs. All in all, you're process oriented, technically adept, and are always crossing your “t’s” and dotting your “i’s.” You're also ready to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, process-driven environment but know that sometimes we have to adapt and adjust plans on-the-fly.

Join our mighty Marketing team as we work together to accelerate the adoption of cryptocurrency so that you and the rest of the world can achieve financial freedom and inclusion. What You’ll Be Doing• Manage/maintain editorial calendars, processes, work-streams and projects for the Communications and Content teams• Develop and implement workflow processes designed to increase team efficiency • Work closely with our legal team to oversee and execute external NDAs and contracts needed with external parties• Assist in annual budget planning as well as manage and track expenses ensuring invoices are paid• Serve as proof-reader and fact-checker on PR communications when needed• Plan team off-sites and various events on occasion• Coordinate bi-weekly updates to the Kraken press page• Special projects and duties as assigned Who You Are• You have 2+ yrs experience in project management, ideally within a marketing team• You’re no newbie when it comes to working with content and editorial calendars• You have a strong sense of urgency when projects are assigned and are able to complete a task quickly while anticipating the need to plan for another project in short succession• You’re highly organized and have an exceptionally high level of attention to detail• You have excellent written and verbal communications skills, and prioritize clarity & brevity in all communications• You have a highly collaborative work style which includes working effectively and respectfully across organizational levels• You’re a proactive and creative problem solver who develops new and innovative ways to work towards goals• You have a natural talent to effortlessly improve a process and the uncanny ability to bring order out of chaos• You’re praised as being positively calm during periods of disorganization or uncertainty• You’re very comfortable using Google Suite products and understand their capabilities• It’s a plus if you have experience with project management tools such as Asana, Wrike or Trello• Have experience reviewing legal documents? Great!• You don’t have to be a crypto expert, but having an interest in Bitcoin, Cryptocurrency or Blockchain is preferred#US #LI-AM1 #LI-REMOTE #CANADA
