What You'll Be Doing:

  • Creating onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on People policies, internal procedures and regulations
  • Maintaining digital files for employees and their documents, benefits and attendance records
  • Administer benefits and assist with open enrollment 
  • Conduct employee onboarding and off-boarding
  • Coordinate with cross functional departments including Information Technology, Facilities and Payroll to ensure smooth onboarding experience for new hires
  • Organize new hire and annual compliance training 
  • Provide support to employees in various People-related topics such as leaves and payroll and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Promote People programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
  • Assist in development and implementation of People policies
  • Undertake tasks around talent management
  • Gather and analyze data with useful People metrics, diversity, attrition and employee turnover rates
  • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, escalating issues as appropriate
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations
  • Act as the main point of contact for employees’ queries on People-related topics
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

  • Proven experience as an HR / People Generalist 2 - 3 years experience
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
  • Working knowledge of employment/labor laws
  • Outstanding knowledge of G-Suite; HRIS systems (e.g. Paylocity) will be a plus
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Aptitude in problem-solving
  • Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
  • BSc/BA in Business administration or relevant field
  • Human Resources certification is preferred.
