Everbridge is seeking an experienced Manager, Proposals, and Sales Security to lead our RFP and Security team. This role is responsible for actively driving and managing the proposed program to ensure that Everbridge puts our best foot forward during the sales process. The Manager, Proposal Management and Sales Security are responsible for ensuring our sales teams can effectively respond to RFPs, RFIs, RFx, and Security Questionnaires. This team is also responsible for deploying documents and having compliance conversations with potential clients.
The leader of this team is responsible for assisting with the revenue growth at Everbridge. This position reports to the Director of Sales Engineering and is critical to the technical pre-sales capacity of Everbridge. They will be responsible for understanding the drivers of the Everbridge solution set and keeping up with the technology as it changes. Ideal candidates will have experience with RFPs + Proposals in the following segments: Federal, State, and Local Government, Healthcare, and Commercial and Enterprise.

What you'll do;

  •  Manage a team of RFP Analysts and Sales Security Analysts, including
  • • Managing Workload and Assignment
  • • Regular Feedback Discussions and Sessions
  • • Implement a metrics-based approach to performance
  • Be a bridge builder within Everbridge. Interfacing with Sales, Sales Engineering, Security, Legal and Product teams
  • Work with both Domestic and International Sales teams to set expectations for best practices, turnaround times, and strategy to win opportunities
  • Set the Strategic Direction of the Department, finding ways to implement a culture of continuous improvement and find opportunities to grow the Everbridge business
  • Interacting with Everbridge Security & Compliance and Legal teams to effectively update processes and procedures for responding to client requests
  • Managing the library of technical and security response content and associated security artifacts
  • Work with M&A organizations to integrate the proposal and security response responsibilities and team members into the existing team
  • Reviewing and assigning incoming proposals and engaging with our proposal management team as first point of contact for technical and operational support

  • Experience Leading Teams in the Proposal Management Space
  • Unwavering attention to detail, and accuracy
  • A sales centric focus, serving the sales teams as your primary customer
  • Highly organized and driven by success, achievement, and recognition
  • High-level understanding of internet hosted applications, highly available architectures, computer security, telephony, and networking
  • Experience using Salesforce.com, DocuSign, and other required technologies for process management and file distribution
  • Ability to learn, understand, and discuss technical concepts, security/compliance requirements, and regulations
  • Ability to maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced, team environment while managing multiple competing priorities
  • Outstanding communication skills (written and oral)
  • Strong time management skills with proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of security and compliance requirements and controls
