Guidewire is hiring a Director to drive our Partner Enablement efforts for our PartnerConnect Consulting Partners comprised of 34 partner companies and 13,500 worldwide consultants.The ideal candidate must have the strong ability to oversee, collaborate, and manage a wide range of partner enablement initiatives. This person must be highly experienced and capable  of working in a complex and fast-paced environment and must be passionate about enabling partners.
Championing the Partner Personas, you will be part of the Guidewire Field Enablement team, reporting to the Director, Everboarding Field Enablement. The Everboarding pod focuses on delivering ongoing Enablement via a persona-based approach to all Guidewire Field teams, at the right time, through the right content, in the right format.You will also report secondarily to the Senior Director, Partner Programs and Enablement (from the SI Alliances team) to set the overall vision and execution for all partner enablement activities. Note: these activities do not include our technical product courses
Specifically:·        This role is critical to ensuring our SI/Consulting partners have the knowledge and skills necessary to assist in presales and sales activities while leveraging our multiple partner personas. ·        You will need to be highly responsive to internal and external stakeholder requests·        It is crucial that you can be an effective time manager, capable of developing and delivering/executing the tactics on multiple projects, on time and on budget·        It is essential for the role that you have the ability to maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced, team environment while managing multiple competing priorities
A high-level understanding of Guidewire products and solutions is preferred. This position is ideally suited for an inspired leader with a passion for helping a highly visible, cross-functional team succeed.
A successful candidate for this role is energetic and willing to roll up their sleeves to meet established objectives. We are looking for someone who has considerable SaaS/software partner expertise working with Sis and consulting partners, and ideally has previously helped build and scale the enablement function globally

Core Responsibilities

  • Build a framework and process to advance from the current state to a future state leveraging the partner personas and multiple execution channels;
  • Program Management: manage multiple concurrent projects and keep contributors on task to meet project timelines;
  • Establish clear ROI; develop and track key performance metrics to support the partner enablement program; 

What you’ll do day to day

  • Evolve the Partner Enablement strategy/execution
  • Collaborate closely with other members of the Field Enablement team to leverage best practices and programs executed on a global scale
  • Partner with internal teams to create, develop and manage cross-functional enablement programs focused on the Partner success
  • Collaborate with leadership to design and implement key performance metrics to measure the programs’ impact and effectiveness while leveraging different personas and need to reach the different audience types
  • Work with multiple teams to develop/identify partner content needs
  • Create a plan for delivering that content through which channels
  • Listen, collect, and apply feedback from Partners to shape the program
  • Provide quarterly dashboard reporting to the executive team
  • Constantly evaluate and refine partner enablement approach based on changing business needs
  • Act as an advocate for partner enablement needs 

Requirements

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience, MBA preferred
  • 15+ years IT industry experience, preferably in an Insurance SaaS or Enterprise experience
  • High commitment to Partner success
  • Prior leadership experience and dedication to Partner success
  • Thrives in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing, fastpaced environment (ability to juggle multiple projects both strategic and tactically detailed simultaneously)
  • Ability to report and sit in one team while working closely with another team (with a strong dotted line reporting structure);
  • Strategic thinker and problem solver
  • Strong presentation and verbal communication skills
  • Up to 25% worldwide travel potential (Post COVID-19 Travel Restrictions)
