What You'll Be Doing:

  • Manage, develop, and mentor a growing team of IT professionals to deliver high quality technology solutions resulting in enhanced security and customer delight
  • Contribute to the strategic roadmap, development and enforcement of policies and procedures, monitoring and support metrics
  • Conducts or oversees business-specific projects by applying deep expertise in subject area; promoting adherence to all policies and procedures; develop work plans to meet business priorities and deadlines; determine and carry out processes and methodologies; coordinate and delegate resources to accomplish organizational goals; partner internally and externally to make effective business decisions; solve complex problems; escalate issues or risks, as appropriate; monitor progress and results; recognize and capitalize on improvement opportunities; evaluate recommendations made; and influence the completion of project tasks by others
  • Practice self-leadership and promote learning in others by building relationships with staff and cross-functional stakeholders; communicate information and provide advice to drive projects forward; influence team members within assigned unit; listen and respond to, seek, and address performance feedback; adapt to competing demands and new responsibilities; provide feedback to others, including upward feedback to leadership; create and execute plans to capitalize on strengths and improve opportunity areas; and adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback
  • Design, develop, and deliver resilient, secure, cost-effective, multi-channel, high-volume, high-transaction, on/off-premise, cloud-based solutions
  • Provide consultation and expert technical advice on IT infrastructure planning, engineering, and architecture for assigned systems by assessing the implications of IT strategies on infrastructure capabilities
  • Provide recommendations and input on options, risks, costs, and benefits for system designs
  • Leverage partnerships with IT teams and key business partners to troubleshoot complex systems
  • Translates business requirements, and functional and non-functional requirements, into technical specifications that support integrated and sustainable designs for complex or high impact infrastructure systems by partnering with the End User Experience team to understand business needs and functional specifications
  • Builds partnerships with counterparts in various functions and vendor communities throughout system development and implementation
  • Serves as a technical expert for project teams throughout the implementation and maintenance of assigned enterprise infrastructure systems by defining and overseeing the documentation of detailed standards (e.g., guidelines, processes, procedures) for the introduction and maintenance of services
  • Reviews benchmarking results, and provides information to support current and future infrastructure needs and projects to IT leadership
  • Provides preliminary conclusions
  • Benchmarks and evaluates IT trends and technologies to identify opportunities and considerations that impact ROI
  • Makes recommendations on resources required to maintain service levels, enhance agility, and meet new business requirements
  • Participate and lead project status meetings and communicate status of all projects to stakeholders and management
  • Clearly define and communicate roles, responsibilities and expectations for all members of the team.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree, a combination of experience and/or advanced degree, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Note that all degrees must be from an accredited institution
  • 8+ years of overall hands-on IT experience with significant proven results in IT Security, Infrastructure, and project delivery. 3+ years of experience managing or leading IT teams
  • Extensive knowledge in TCP/IP, LAN/WAN/SD-WAN, VPN, Firewall, SSL/TLS, Routing protocol (BGP/OSPF/EIGRP), and related technologies
  • Intermediate to expert knowledge of cybersecurity compliance, including technologies for secure remote access, SSO, MFA, MDM, DLP, disaster recovery, SASE, CASB, SIEM and other security/system monitoring tools
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft and Google technology stack including Azure AD, Workspace, Intune, SQL, SharePoint, etc
  • Experience and working knowledge of cloud IaaS/PaaS; specifically GCP, AWS, and Azure. Identify, track, monitor, and communicate project related issues, scope changes, variances, and contingencies that may arise during the implementation of the project
  • Work with project team members to facilitate amicable solutions and resolve blockers and barriers to progress
  • Participate in business continuity and disaster recovery planning and execution.
