About the Role:The eCommerce team is responsible for growing Matterport’s revenue through a global footprint of valued Ecommerce partners in the Americas region.Matterport is looking to hire a Regional eCommerce Sales Manager to manage and grow our sales through a network of online retailers. This is a new position within the Matterport family that focuses on extending what the Channel team has historically built. We are looking for a strong teammate who  can take our ecommerce business to the next level.The ideal candidate would be an entrepreneurial go-getter and desires to win, maintain, and expand relationships with assigned channel partners. We are seeking someone who can excel in growing our current eCommerce. We are a fun but very fast-paced and result driven team with great growth potential!
Matterport is a remote workplace with headquarters in Sunnyvale, CA. This position can be based remotely in the United States #LI-Remote

What you will do:

  • Responsible for planning, and managing the eCommerce channel partners acquisition and management of the Sell-Through.
  • Responsible for managing the entire Etailers presence in the USA, Canada, and Mexico. 
  • Meets and exceeds assigned sales targets and strategic objectives across strategic eCommerce accounts.
  • Develop and execute sales programs to grow the Sell-In and the Sell-through Drive maximized revenue through collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners on creating and executing marketing programs and tactics. 
  • Conduct extensive online research, at all times understanding marketing and sales strategies from all major Retailers.
  • Build a trust and foster a relationship to be recognized as a premium ecommerce supplier with each Retailer.
  • Effectively communicate with Etialer the benefits, features, uses, and case studies of our Matterport technology.

Who you are:

  • eCommerce experience required, working with online commerce retailers.
  • 3 to 5+ years of sales experience.
  • Proven track record of delivering results and generating transformational growth.
  • Able to handle ambiguity and solve conflicts
  • Strong analytics and data management skills. 
  • Self-starter and self-motivated individuals with an entrepreneurial mindset who can drive growth on their accounts creatively.
  • Able to handle pressure under a fast paced startup environment. 
  • Highly organized and able to multitask without any loss of output or focus.
  • Familiarity with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and PRM (Partner Relationship Management).
  • Eager and able to learn new systems and processes quickly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and good follow-through.
