About the role:Reporting to the Sr Director of FP&A-Sales and Marketing, Matterport is seeking a Sr Financial Analyst.
Matterport is a remote workplace with headquarters in Sunnyvale, CA. This position can be based remotely in the United States #LI-Remote

What you will do:

  • Develop and maintain a set of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting packages for revenue and expense and their drivers such as HC, Account Signups/Expansions/Churn and Product Usage/Engagement metrics.
  • Own expense forecast maintenance in Anaplan and monthly variance analysis reporting with business partners.
  • Create data sets you own and maintain and ultimately bring into Matterport’s data production environments.
  • Create linkages between hitherto unconnected data sets to discover insights.
  • Work with data analyst teams outside of finance to improve Matterport’s data reporting environment.

Who you are:

  • 2-4 years of FP&A experience desired, preferably in high growth or turn around environment
  • Strong internal drive to create FP&A work product with little prompting
  • Ability to represent complex issues in a clear fashion, relying on numbers to tell the story
  • Deadline oriented, able to perform under time pressure when needed
  • Introspection and ability to accept and synthesize coaching/critiques of your work to improve your productivity/output
  • Strong data modeling skills
  • MBA is a plus
