THE ROLE

As Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the end to end implementation of Wireless solutions within our clients. Working as part of a virtual project team, you will be responsible for the design, delivery, and technical assurance of the agreed solution. This may include all or some of the following elements: site surveys, creation of low-level designs, development of SAT and UAT plans, physical installation, configuration, commissioning, testing, documentation, and handover to support. You will be working closely with both clients and internal resources.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Assist our pre-sales team in scoping Professional Services and technical designs
  • Working extensively with our clients and Project Management team to take the agreed design and make it a reality
  • Complete complex Wireless Design using Ekahau site survey tool
  • Serving as a subject matter expert and central point on Wireless technologies, both internally and with clients
  • Responsible for build, configuration, and deployment of Wireless technologies
  • Complete systems acceptance testing of deployed solution
  • Produce and present project documentation including design, implementation and testing in line with Natilik’s standards

Requirements

The following core project engineering skills would make you a great fit for this role:

  • Extensive experience with Wireless design, validation, troubleshooting, and optimisation
  • Extensive experience with Ekahau (including Connect), ECSE-D accreditation desirable
  • CWDP / CWSP / CWAP and/or CCNP Wireless accreditation
  • Experience with Cisco C9800 and AireOS
  • Solid understanding of Wireless architecture concepts
  • Active in WiFi Pros Community
  • Technical experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco Enterprise Networking technology
  • Good knowledge of Networking and Security technologies relevant to Wireless i.e. Cisco ISE/SDA/DNA
  • Experience of Automation and DevOps including programming ability with at least one language such as Python
  • Operating at or working towards CCIE or CWNE level
  • Recognised as TDA
  • Manage multi-party projects with clients, vendors and internal teams
  • Ability to design as well and deliver large, more complex projects
  • Present to Leadership members on PS/Technical related matters
