Operations & No-code Associate / Remote / Product / Full-TimeTL;DR: Fast-growing early-stage startup seeking an Associate who can wear several hats (including Operations and building No-Code Infrastructure) for our Hiring Product Team. The Hiring Product team's primary offering is currently a talent marketplace connecting top companies with top talent which empowers top talent to find opportunities at top companies faster (and empowers top cos to hire faster). This role is fully remote with a preference for specific time zones (approx. PST to UTC) to maximize overlapping time with the rest of the Hiring Product team and with our team's customers (talent & companies).

About the Hiring Product TeamThe Hiring team aims to win the market for pre-series B talent. We want to be the first call for top talent and top companies looking for a new opportunity or looking to hire.
The Hiring Product team is the product arm of the Hiring org. We currently operate a Talent Marketplace ("Talent Hub") with directories of Talent and Opportunities, a two job boards (one visible only to On Deck Fellows, and another visible at jobs.beondeck.com), and leanhire.com. Our primary offering is Talent Hub.

Who you are:

  • High output + execution hustle — You embrace the generalist mindset and slot in wherever necessary. You are highly resourceful, an eager learner, and thrive in a scrappy and often chaotic environment.
  • Next-level customer supporter — You have experience in supporting and serving customers — bonus points if in a community-based experience/product. You deeply understand how to problem solve and provide value to customers in this setting.
  • Frontline community-builder – You love supporting and connecting people, and you rarely run out of energy for another Zoom chat or Slack message to learn about someone and their experience.
  • Creative "spirit of service" – You think first how you can serve others and are always seeking opportunities to support Fellows. Your default setting is to get creative, and you’re often the source of pleasant surprises to those around you.
  • Meticulously detail-oriented – You naturally take on ownership, have an eagerness to dive into the nitty-gritty, and pride yourself on not letting anything fall through the cracks.
  • Open to a culture of feedback – As a young and growing team, you'll be an essential part of building culture. This currently includes regular opportunities to give and receive feedback.

What you will do:

  • Transform big vision into execution – you can expect to do a little bit of everything: creating no-code product infrastructure, working with top talent to support their job searches and refine their Talent Profiles, build bridges with On Deck's various programs (more on these below). You'll also wear many other hats, thoughtfully balancing resourceful scrappiness with thoughtful planning and meticulous attention-to-detail.
  • Create no-code product infrastructure – A lot of our product infrastructure is built in no-code using tools like Integromat and Zapier. You'd be the master of the Hiring Product team's no-code stack.
  • Support top talent – Work with vetted talent on our Talent Marketplace to improve their Talent Profiles, connect them with relevant opportunities, and own their relationships with our product.
  • Build bridges across On Deck – Hiring Products also aims to create value for On Deck Fellows. You would be a primary point of contact between the Hiring Product team and some of On Deck's program teams.
  • Nurture a healthy and happy culture – you'll contribute to a cross-functional environment of trust, support, and innovation.
  • Roll up your sleeves on a moment's notice – you'll sweat the details alongside your team, whether in slides, Slack, Miro, Figma, or Integromat.

  • We're an early-stage startup. Projects and priorities are likely to shift.

LocationOur team works remotely, and we are excited about candidates globally.  Please note that our team works on GMT-7 PST-friendly hours, so your location will affect your work hours, which may be difficult from Europe or Asia.
