At Truepill, we are building the future of healthcare. Through our digital health platform, we empower our partners to deliver world-class patient experiences. With nearly ten million prescriptions shipped, we’ve been included on Forbes’ “Next Billion-Dollar Startup” list and are proud to work with many of the world’s largest healthcare organizations. We never settle for how it’s done today. We invent how it will be done tomorrow.
None of this is possible without the right team driving us forward. We are committed to creating an environment focused on racial and gender equality, inclusion, empowerment, and respect. We believe that when our teams feel supported and inspired, they turn that creativity into innovation. The type of innovation that benefits all of our people, our partners, and our patients.
We encourage our team members to expand their horizons and bring their passion and curiosity to work, every day. Come join us. Let’s build something great together.
We are seeking a U.S.-based Creative / UX Content Writer to help bring our platform to life. You’ll guide patients through various experiences including prescription ordering, telehealth visits, diagnostics, e-commerce, DTC therapies, and population health programs. Work directly alongside Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers to ensure that conversational content/design and creativity are aligned, consistent and best exemplify the Truepill Tone of Voice. Employ empathy to honor Truepill’s first core value of “Patients First,” and ensure a cohesive narrative across our experiences. Join conversations with Sales, Marketing, and Ops, and present concepts to internal and external stakeholders.
This role will include working directly with some of our largest healthcare clients on member/patient-facing experiences. Partner with external Product Owners, process (and challenge) product marketing requirements, gather competitive research and develop content for various audiences. Collaborate with the broader Truepill Engineering team to deliver content on set release schedules, and stay involved following development for Visual QA, UAT, and user research.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Establishing our UX Copy : Our product platform is growing rapidly, and you’ll be developing fresh, engaging content that helps patients find and easily access the care they need
  • Finding Connections : You’ll be interpreting user flows, product and marketing requirements, and presenting creative content that complements, expands, and strengthens Truepill-powered experiences
  • Testing & Iterating : Participate in peer reviews, stakeholder feedback sessions, user testing and competitive analysis. We are determined to deliver best-in-class healthcare experiences
  • Contributing: Building is at our core. Experiences you write for will ultimately influence the Truepill Design System and become reusable components of our pattern library.
  • A background writing user interface copy, communications across all user touchpoints, including landing pages, questionnaires, user guides, email and SMS
  • Experience with user-centered UX writing and content strategies, with the ability to drive these across the product development process
  • Creative copywriting experience for healthcare marketing pages and/or campaigns
  • Excellent verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills
  • Maturity and comfort presenting to, and receiving feedback from, external stakeholders (from startup founders to Fortune 500 enterprise clients)
  • History of shipping high-quality, high-performance SaaS / platform products
  • Working knowledge of brand style guides, Tone of Voice, etc., how to apply them, and guide others to utilize them properly
  • Comfort working within Figma, with willingness to jump in to add / modify / tweak copy in layout
  • Experience working within accessibility standards, and for diverse audiences in (often) sensitive situations

What You'll Need:

  • 5 years of experience in content strategy, UX copywriting, and/or writing copy for web/mobile applications
  • Define copy for UX interactions ranging from button call-to-actions, notifications, errors and confirmation screens
  • Utilize and/or develop Tone of Voice style guides, taxonomies, content matrices and other deliverables to influence the direction of client experiences
  • Write content that transforms complex ideas into useful, approachable and consumer-friendly copy
  • Work closely with Designers, UX Researchers, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to drive the content roadmap and iterate based on research and insights
  • Continually elevate our "quality bar" for content that captures the attention of our executives, partners and competitors
  • Remain highly collaborative with others, and exercise clear communication skills
  • Willingness to share fresh ideas and perspective with a diverse & highly creative team
  • Maintain a positive attitude with the maturity to iterate following team / client feedback
  • Flexibility to balance multiple priorities and timelines; deliver in a fast-paced startup environment without sacrificing quality
  • Navigate complex topics within the limitations of a regulated industry
  • Take privacy and client confidentiality seriously
